The Broadway Deli is a joint venture of Michel Richard and Bruce Marder. The restaurant is a cross between a European brasserie and an upscale diner. Whatever you feel like eating you'll probably find it on the menu including, of course, corned-beef and pastrami sandwiches, but also Caesar salad, shepherd's pie, carpaccio, and broiled salmon with creamed spinach. There area also side dishes such as corn muffins, mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, and potato pancake. Breads are baked fresh, and there's also a kids' menu.
