The Walk of Fame
This walk is like no other as below you are the stars of the past and around you are the stars of today and tomorrow. The walk is a part of the Hollywood Boulevard Historic Commercial and Entertainment District and since 1999 you can now locate the historic sites by the new signs that have been erected. The Walk of Fame tour is one of the most elaborate in the USA.
The Hollywood Wax Museum
Upset that you haven't seen the movie star of your dreams yet. Well one solution is to visit the Hollywood Wax Museum. Located right on Hollywood Blvd you can visit all your favorite stars for under $10. Another perk of the museum is you they are open until midnight during the week and 2 a.m. on the weekends, therefore, allowing you to optimize the rest of your travel plans.
The Hollywood Sign
You can't be in Hollywood without noticing "The Sign". One of the most recognizable landmarks in the United States was declared a historical landmark in 1973. The original housing development sign was not built to stand forever, therefore, it is in need of repair. So who is helping fund this $27,000 per letter budget? Guinness World Records Museum
You have all read or heard of the book, now you can visit the museum. View the book in a dazzling display of video, computers, and life like replicas. The museum is located in another registered landmark, "The Hollywood", the city's first movie house.
Paramount Pictures
Ever want to be in a movie? Well why not visit the Paramount Pictures Film Studio while in Hollywood. The studio is considered to be the most attractive of the studios and there are many walking tours available during the week for $15. Please be warned that you must be 10 years old or older to be allowed on the tours.
